Why “Actually Local” Matters
A lot of electronics recyclers list North Kansas City as a service area. Most of them are not here. Their trucks come from Imperial, from the suburbs, from out of state. They schedule you a week out, drive in, and drive back. That's fine if you have a week to wait and do not care where your equipment actually goes.
We live here. Our building is on 10th Avenue. If you are anywhere in North Kansas City, you can be at our dock in under five minutes. If you are at one of the Harrah's properties, at the Chouteau Bridge, at Macken Park, or driving down Burlington, we are essentially around the corner. Walk in, hand us your box, leave. That is the whole service.
We also process everything at the same address. There is no handoff to a facility in Imperial or Wichita. Your old laptops do not take a 60-mile road trip before anyone touches them. We audit, wipe, destroy, and recycle in the same building where you dropped them off. That is why our chain-of-custody documentation is tight and why we can turn around Certificates of Destruction fast.

We Do Not Charge for TVs

Our fee page says zero. LCD TVs, LED TVs, OLED TVs, flat-screen TVs of any size, from any brand, in any condition: free to drop off. We only do not accept CRT (tube) TVs and plasma TVs due to hazardous materials, and we list alternatives for those on our CRT disposal guide.
If you compare prices, you will find our full pricing breakdown and side-by-side competitor comparison on our Best Buy vs Computer Recycling LLC page. Spoiler: we win on every line.

North Kansas City Is Home
We have been on 10th Avenue for 20 years. We know the neighborhood. We know the people who stop by with a carload of old office gear. We know the NKC Public Schools IT team that drops off retired Chromebooks every summer. We know the property managers at the apartments off Burlington who call us after move-out cleanouts.
This is not a service area for us. It is where we work. That is the difference you are going to feel the moment you walk in the dock.
