Is business pickup really free?
Yes — pickup is free for qualifying business loads: a business or organization at a commercial location (we don’t pick up from homes), roughly 3+ gaylord boxes of IT equipment, within about 25 miles of North Kansas City (64116). Smaller loads can be dropped off free at 125 E 10th Ave (your first 3 TVs are free, then $10 each).
What counts as a qualifying load?
About three gaylord boxes — each roughly 4 × 4 × 3 feet. That’s around 15–20 desktops, 30–40 laptops or Chromebooks, or 2–3 server racks. Laptops, desktops, servers, networking equipment or large amounts of wire qualify; printers or copiers on their own don’t, but they can ride along with a qualifying load.
How soon can you come?
We reply within 1 business day to confirm a date and time. Most pickups are scheduled within 3–5 business days.
Do we need to pack or move anything?
No — our crew loads for you, with palletizing and heavy lifting included. Just mention stairs, elevators or dock access in the form so we bring the right equipment.
What happens to the data on our drives?
Every drive is wiped to NIST 800-88 standards or physically destroyed. Certificates (Recycling, Data Destruction, Product Destruction) and asset reports are free for businesses — just pick the ones you need when you book.
Will we get paid for newer equipment?
Working gear with resale value may qualify for buyback — see selling used IT equipment. Everything else is recycled responsibly, with nothing sent to a landfill.
We’re a household or a small load — can we still book?
Pickups are only for businesses at commercial locations, not homes or residential addresses, and they’re sized for business loads. Drop-off is free for almost everything — no appointment, and our crew unloads for you in about five minutes at 125 E 10th Ave, North Kansas City.
